Each Halo & Hurt piece is designed and handcrafted by jeweller Hanna Dawson-Smith, based in Naarm (Melbourne) Australia.

Hanna is inspired by the idea of adornment, stripped down to its essence. A grandeur display of wealth and luxury designed to impress. Hanna self-confesses to living an excessive exuberant life and this is reflected in her designs.

Ostentatious in approach and demanding of an audience.
Heavily influenced by a flamboyant obsession with costume, fashion, and pop culture, Hanna uses ‘old world’ traditional metal-smithing techniques to create her own unique style of ‘new world’ jewellery pieces.

Fuelled by a commitment to a sustainable practice, Hanna uses a network of Australian based suppliers to source ethically mined gemstones and recycled precious metals.
